Shot Focus Bowling ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
We collect minimal information to provide you with the best bowling practice tracking experience:
Your bowling data is stored in two places:
Locally on your device: All data is saved to your device's storage so the app works offline and loads instantly.
Cloud backup: Your non-private data (profile settings, sessions, shots, ball arsenal, layouts, and fittings) is automatically backed up to our secure cloud database. This backup is tied to your email address and allows you to restore your data if you switch devices or reinstall the app. Cloud backups happen automatically in the background whenever your data changes.
Your profile photo and any videos or images you upload for analysis stay on your device only. They are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
The app may connect to third-party services for ball information lookup (e.g., retrieving ball specifications). These requests only send the ball name you search for and do not include any personal information.
The app requests access to your camera and photo library solely for the purpose of recording or uploading bowling videos for analysis and setting a profile photo. We do not access your media for any other purpose.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your cloud backup data is stored securely and is only accessible using your email address. We do not use your bowling data for any purpose other than providing it back to you.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the app. Go to your Profile page and tap "Delete Account." This permanently deletes all locally stored sessions, shots, ball arsenal, and your cloud backup. This action cannot be undone.
Alternatively, you can sign out from the Profile page to remove your local data while keeping your cloud backup available for future restore.
The app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is described in this policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
